Great day on the water (4/4/26)! 🎣 The bite was on fire—we landed a solid mix of snook, jacks, and redfish. Huge shoutout to Capt. Troy for working nonstop to keep us on the fish all morning.
Highly recommend Pine Island Sportfishing—can’t wait to get back out there. Thanks again, Troy!

My son and I truly enjoyed a fun filled fishing trip with capt' Troy, we only one day available due to my son's short visit and of course it was far from an ideal day to be fishing. A cold front had dropped the water temp way down and the wind was stronger than you would prefer to go out in but Troy said he would give it his best shot. He worked his butt off to get us into some great fishing holes and delivered with several snook hook ups, a grouper and snappers. We will be back!!!!!

Had an exceptional flyfishing trip with Troy. Caught 12 fish total including snook, jack, and a trophy speckled trout. All on the fly. It was obvious that Troy knew where the fish were. He placed the boat perfectly for favorable fly casting at each of the fishing spots. His skills and knowledge of the local tides, winds, and fishing spots was evident. I learned allot from his background in fly fishing. A very enjoyable and rewarding day.

Had a great day with Captain Troy ! Tuff conditions as water temp was 58 degrees. Captain Troy got us on the sheepshead fast and steady. Ended up with five keepers for a great dinner. He’s a great guy to learn from especially when conditions and not ideal. Learnt a lot, caught some great fish and look forward to going again.

We had an incredible adventure fishing the inland waters of St. James City with Captain Troy! His local knowledge on where and how to fish made the learning process fun and made for an amazing, fresh caught dinner that night! Highly recommend for a top-tier fishing adventure!

Captain Troy would not let the wind, cold weather and low water deter us from having a great day fishing. The sheepshead bite was on and we were the only boat on them. We’ve know Troy for over 25 years and it was awesome to reconnect. His fishing experience and determination for his clients to catch fish is unparalleled. It was our first time on Pine Island. It has a great vibe, great food, and great accommodations.

I have been on multiple trips with captain Troy he runs a top notch service completely geared towards customers satisfaction and safety! I have fished with Troy on Lake Ontario and the Salmon River for years. We have always had a great time and caught some amazing fish. Fishing with him in Pine Island was epic. We caught 10 different types of fish and lots of them. One of the best days ever.
